Who Is Behind Project WHOA!BEAM?
WHOA!BEAM is the product of the overactive imaginations and technical skills of two men of somewhat questionable sanity...
First, there's William. He's the guy that knows what he wants to see in a work light. The reason? He owns an auto repair business. Fixing cars absolutely requires being able to both see and feel what you're doing, and while the sense of touch that an auto tech develops takes a lot of experience, the sight part is easy to handle. (Let's just say that aut techs tend to have the best flashlights they can get their hands on.) So, WHOA!BEAM was born from a need for a shop-friendly work light.
The other half of the equation is his older brother, Tom. As it turns out, Tom is an expert in the use of and applications for LED technology, and has acted as a consultant for numerous LED-related projects throughout the world. So when William relayed a need for a better work light, Tom had the answers.
The result of the collaboration was the first prototype for the WHOA!BEAM.
